Quarantine system update

To all users of AEM’s facilities

Changes to the quarantine system between some of the animal units at the Department of Experimental Medicine

The quarantine from unit 16.4 to the Biocenter has been repealed, which means that animals and personnel can now move freely between these two units without quarantine restrictions.

The quarantine restriction between Marker and Barfod has been repealed but with unidirectional movement between the two units from Barfod to Marker. meaning that one must exit from Marker before entering Barfod with new PPE. Due to this, a quarantine restriction of 16 hours from Barfod to unit 16.4 at Panum has been established.

It's important to follow these quarantine requirements and safety measures to ensure the health and safety of animals at the Department of Experimental Medicine.

Quarantine overviews can be found at entrances to all animal units and on our website.
