Experimental Units for Rodents

Units

The experimental units for rodents are located at Panum, the Copenhagen Biocenter, August Krogh building (AKB)  and at Rigshospitalet (RH). The figure below gives an overview of the different units, where they are located and which quarantine zone they belong to.

The arrows indicate the possible movement of animals. The principle is that animals can only move in the direction from a higher health status to a similar or lower health status.

For example, in the blue zone, animals can move from the Biocenter and 16-4  to  the other blue units, and to the red zone units. But from the MGU and 10-3 animals cannot move to the Biocenter or 16-4, only to each other, and to the units in the red zone..
